ImageInvoker AD prototype tested today!
Created: 28 Jan 2011 | Updated: 28 Jan 2011 | 2 comments
Milestone reached today!!
I've managed today to plug a few solid hours in upgrading the ImageInvoker engine, and have tested successfully the protocol for a client AD authenticating at the engine and receiving it's authorised job list.
Still lots to do and document, but having finally tied together lots of new functions to produce this is a sweet feeling!! Finally, something is emerging....

Hi Ian,
I was thinking of asking about the Image Invoker integration with LDAP/AD authentication and saw this blog.
I can try this with my enviroment. From where can I download the prototype?
You mean you missed this little series....... ;-)

I've had a lot on over the last week or so, so haven't managed to progress II any further. It's all fairly crude just now and there is no Linux support at the moment.
If you're still interested, prod me again in a week -by then I should have packaged up the engine and WinPE client as a crude alpha MSI.
Kind Regards,
Ian./
