Backup Exec 2010 R3 remote agents servers do not show up under Favorite resources in the backup selection list

After pushing installing a remote agent the remote agent machine is missing or does not show under Favorite Resources.  The remote agent may show up under Domains or Active Directory selections

 

This issue is fixed in Backup Exec 2010 R3 Hotfix 161270

A duplication job might write the data to more than one device

A duplication job might write data to not only the specified target device but to a different available device as well.

 

Example:
An environment where Backup Exec has three possible target devices.
These target devices can be Backup to Disk (B2D) folders, Physical libraries or/and Virtual libraries (VTL)

NDMP backups complete successfully and nothing is present under restore selections for some folders or volumes that contain large amounts of data (files or directories).

NDMP backups complete successfully and nothing is present under restore selections for some folders or volumes that contain large amounts of data (files or directories).  This is mostly seen with NDMP backups larget than 1TB and certian folders under the NDMP volumes that contain many directories or small files

MOSS: With Granular Recovery Technology (GRT), restoring folders or sub folders under Document Library Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 does not restore the “Modified By” value as the original

Pre-release fix is available for this issue.

Backup of Local Disk on a SBS 2011 Server completes with following exception even though no SharePoint resource is selected “V-79-57344-33925 Error: Sharepoint_Admincont is a component of a Share Point server farm.

This is under investigation.

File-level GRT restore from AVVI backup on tapes takes longer than normal if the VM has multiple VMDK’s.

This is currently under investigation.

Editing a policy or selection list takes a lot of time to open and causes the Backup Exec Console to go in a non-responsive state.

This issue is cuurently under investigation.
