Hello Admin, Currently i am using 7.1 Altiris in my Site. i have seen one issue which is related to Report. When we export the report in .csv format and open in excel, it reflect that File not loaded completely. Reson is Excel has row limit 65536/1,048,576. Report size is larger than this capacity. To sort this issue we have find the solution to merge the file in to 2 parts but this is possible only dividing the data in 2 parts manually that is not a solution. So if this merging ...

Hi, I would like suggest enhancement request for SD 7.5 Automation rules backup functionality. It would be great as well if all the email template can be backup as well. Unfortunately in the current version of ServiceDesk/Workflow there isn't any way to backup or restore automation rules in workflow 7.5. Regards, Ramlan

the ability to change the IP address that is the default IP and port that is accessed by the clients when they are not able to connect to the network this is because the ip used now is 123.4.5.6 port 7 which is a ip address in china and is being used this presents a security risk because the external IP of the routers can be traced using the connection information of the PCA

In trying to inventory monitors with Altiris we have run into a few issues. The main one I'd like to see fixed or improved is Altiris' ability to inventory more that 1 monitor weather it is plugged into one or two ports. Altiris does appear to be able to inventory more than one monitor if the monitors are different. However if the monitors are the same it seems to only collect the information for one. Dear Symantec, can you please modify the process of deleting MSD? Now it it is working like: There is published MSD. When there is needed to delete MSD, it is neccessary to unpublish the MSD. Then I guess the MSD should be possible to easily deleted. But it is not, there is block message with item refference and it is needed to run the report and delete all the records. Thank you

Dear Symantec Patch Management Solution Support, Microsoft has released the Microsoft Security Advisory 2847140 for IE8 Remote Code Execution issue on May 8, 2013. Many government agencies' websites have been hacked because of this issue. We try to roll out this fix as soon as possible, but can not download it with Altiris SMP 7.1. We frequently use "Copy File To" function in DS 6.9 SP5 to copy files and folders to multiple computers. As of late we noticed that file copy is not happening correctly. The file gets corrupted during or doesnt copy complete (shows 0kb or partial size). It is very disappointing to learn that DS doesnt have any builtin tools for checking file copy integrity. It would be nice to have a tool to verify the file copy. Thanks MK
