EV 10.0.1 Feature Briefing - Unified Outlook Client

Hi
I'm pleased to announce the availability (attached) of a new feature briefing document, which provides an overview of the new Unified Outlook Client which will be introduced in Enterprise Vault 10.0.1. The Unified Outlook Client provides a single client which combines the ease of configuration and deployment of the previous "light" HTTP-based client, and the richer end user functionality of the previous DCOM-based client.

Note: We have updated this doc to reflect the fact that the new Unified Outlook Client works for OL2003, OL2007 and OL2010. Not just OL2010 which may have been the impression we gave :-).

Is it support with earlier version of EV backend? I have EV 8 SP5 running on my servers and can I have this new client for all users?
I did go through the documment and couldnt see any section which is talking about the combatabilty details of backend. Does that mean it works with any version in backend?
I think that Outlook clients are compatible with EV versions 1+ and 1-, so version 10.0.1 shoul be compatible with EV 9.x and future EV 11.x
