my neighbor has symantec endpoint protection the computer finally booted.. endpoint after 10 minutes still wouldn't load and froze the computer up. started it in safe mode and it froze up it all started after a power failure ...will norton removal work on this product. and will it boot from the cd on witch it is burned on ,once it loads up it freezes up
hp pavilion, windows vista ultimate 32 bit version .endpoint ?? it freezes up to quick duo core intel 3 gb ram.... any ideals??

use cleanwipe tool , to get this tool you need to call up tech support.

thanks for the info but the computer will freeze up before i get that far... i need something before it boots into windows..lol
i know that and same problem occur here.
So that i have attach the same forum.
When you will login the system in safe mode then sep not working. so it is possible that system will work fine because all the driver file also stop here.
Then with the help of attach link you can install the installer sevice in safe mode.
After that you able to easily remove the sep client.

Is it working normal in Safe Mode??
If yes then login the system in Safe Mode and disbale the SEP Service(SmcService).
After that login the system in normal mode and check if it working then it mean that symantec come to freeze it.
So try to cleanwipe tool otherwise use the third party software(revounistaller).
After removing all the symantec dll files clear the folder if it dispaly in Drives.
Reinstall the sep.
