Need help creating New VM

Hi,
need help creating process for managing virtual machines, from a new system request, and manager approval, to IT creation and deployment of a VM image.
all in workflow

We actually had an in-house tool a few years ago that managed the leasing and imaging of lab machines for development/testing purposes. It incorporated the Deployment Solution components (Symantec.Components.DS, not loaded by default, and they only work for DS 6.9), a DB schema (to store the images themselves as well as "who had what") as well as some generated DB components to interface with this schema. It was similar to a mini-vSphere, but using real machines vs virtual machines.
Unsure if this is something you'd be interested in or not.
I didn't have a lot of luck getting the vmware webservices integrated but you should be able to do the vm creation and what not with powershell (PowerCLI) fairly easily. Now whether you're using templates or just pushing images using the DS or something would probably determine how complicated you needed to make it deployment wise.
