there is no native function in EV to remove an archive other than 1 by 1 right click, delete. however when you right click and delete it essentially sets a column in sql from 0 to 1 so you could script that based on some sort of trigger you define.

when you say disable automatically, what do you mean exactly? what event do you want to trigger the disabling of an archive?

I'd be interested in knowing why you'd want to do this.

Hi Guys, for example, the staff left the company, so the ID will be removed from AD, meanwhile need to:

1. remove mailbox from exchange, this can be down automatically

2. disable mailbox archiving, if don't disable, any issue? How to automate?

3. remove archive,since we enabled the journal archiving, all the user emails already have a copy in journal archive. We don't want after a few years there are so many obsoleted archives in EV. How to automate?
