It would be super nice if every tool, application, software, etc. released and/or made available by Symantec had command line options.
Would like to run a removal tool remotely on a system that is known to be infected, however all the tools are GUI based with no command line options.
I do not want to "train" my users to accept an URL, or click on any old thing they recieve via email, IM, etc. I do however want to run a tool of some sort on their device that will aid in ...

I'm not entirely sure if this is an impossible feature request due to technical reasons, but I have had customers being forced to use LUA or LU to update simply because they have a specific time window to update definitions on their endpoints due to other reasons, which means more expense for the end user in terms of hardware (LUA) or bandwidth (LU)
And as LUA cannot do delta definitions this puts a large strain on the network.
In short, It would be great to add an option to the SEPM to ...

Hi,
I am working for a client and have implemented Critical System Protection in their environment. One feature which we dearly missed was the Authentication option when specifying Email for Email Alerts. Unlike SEPM, SCSP does not provide a method to specify Authentication information when providing an email address. Now, this is an issue with the current setup since the Client's Exchange Server does not accept Un-authenticated Email Connection for forwarding alerts. Though, it is easy ...
Hi,
I have some customer, which need the integration of AD Groups in SEP Manager.
The scenario is; Customers organize the user/admin functions or what the user/admin can do with AD Groups. So the customers now wants to import the "AD SEP Admin" Group in the SEP Manager in the section administrators and assign there the right permissions.
Does other need also this feature?

Capying and pasting all these figerprint numbers to a text file and then importing as a figerprint file is time intensive and then once created into a fingerprint file you then can't view what's actually in there.

I work between 60-70 hours a week and dont have time to look at SEPM all the time. I was wondering if there is a way to create a notification task, emailing me when one of my clients isnt receiving the latest SAV definitions. Last week I had 2 servers that had not received SAV definitions in about 2 weeks. All they needed was a reboot, but I didnt know there was a problem until I logged into SEPM
