Add fields for O/S & product version when creating new posts

A lot of time is wasted having to ask: which O/S? which product version?
Answers to questions are a lot of times specific to O/S and/or Product version.
If added to the form when a user submits his post, resolution time to problems can be greatly improved.

Product version tags are not offered for all the products on Connect, but the OS can be tagged from under the topic tags.
I support the idea. What I was thinking - product and OS versions should be obligatory to fill. This is the only way to solve the problem Marianne addressing. On the other hand this will complicate posts creation. A little bit, but still.

How would you label / describe the fields in the UI?
Help me describe the field and its related description so as to not confuse users. Here's a start:
Operating System
Please enter the operating system that the product in question is running on.
Product Version
Please provide the version of the product you're using. This will help us provide a more accurate answer.
