Dear Symantec,

If I try refreshing a Case ID or refresh a web page in MySupport, I get the following screen:

With the error message of:

The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request.

What has happened is that the WebServer has lost my session in memory or the server has gone down and lost the session (which has happened before, too)!

This looks REALLY unprofessional and belies the fact that Symantec is not using its own Service Desk software (which it should do, as the issues with Service Desk would be fixed pretty quickly)! Lastly, it also means that I have to log back into MySupport and redo whatever action I

So, if a user refreshes a web page within MySupport, can we PLEASE make it more bullettproof and handle the error with something like, "Your session has timed out and you need to re-login" and takes you back to the login page. Once the user HAS logged in, then please take the user to the page that they were trying to get to?

To be honest, this is pretty basic stuff - sessions can be stored in SQL servers, after all - and this just reduces the user's esteem that they hold Symantec and its software in.

Kindest regards,

QuietLeni
