Please add to this check a verification of slice to volume so as to determine if any volumes exist without an underlying slice. When volumes exist on the root disk without an underlying slice, various problems may result including loss of those volumes during unencapsulation and failure or a root disk mirror operation.

Hello Michael,
Thank you for the suggestion. We can add this enhancement request to the SORT risk assessment check for a future release of SORT. In the meantime, is there a Technote we can point admins to?
If there is, please forward it to me as we can add it to the documentation output of a SORT Checklist (https://sort.symantec.com/checklist/install) or to the SORT Custom Reports (sample report output at https://sort.symantec.com/sample/install_and_upgrade).
Regards,
Jeff
