In my situation I tried all of the client side fixes that have been announced or described on thi post. So we started looking on the server end of things. After we placed the proxy in the SEPMs config the errors in the event logs stopped ...

this is due to proxy settings not being configured on the server side....SEPMs need to have proper proxy configured get with the people in your company that manages these.

After removal of dot net 2.0 we noticed side by side errors in the event logs with various Symatec related entries this is one of them: SidebySide Event id: 59 Generate Activation Context failed for C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\ccL608.dll. Reference error message: The operat
