This product uses ethical licensing, if you exceed the number it won't restrict functionality.  Another way of ascertaining current state, it to use the "Last Seen" column for users, then look at ones who have no checked in for, say, 2 months.  It's safe to assume that anyone who hasn't checked in in 2 months is no longer using the product, and can be safely removed. ...

The "Install Packages" tab, as seen within the Clients Group Structure view, is there to provide an easy way of upgrading existing managed endpoint machines (as well as providing a means to change the install feature-set). This tab is not meant as a facility to auto-deploy the client software.

This would be a fantastsic feature for VDI, eg Citrix XenDesktop where you have a persistent D: drive for write cache, if we could use this for storing definitions rather than having to update to current definitions on every startup of a golden image. The turn off NTP is not a solution, it's destroying the whole point of using Symantec. It is the worse workaround of all.   Would you please fix the issue ASAP.  Please let us know when you release the patch or upgrade please! thanks,

The Pro Active Threat protection and scans delete all login information (cookies) in IE10 when it finds a tracking cookie it wants to remove.  It seem to clear all of them rather than just the threat. It has been suggested that I recert back to IE9 untill this can be fixed, but I am running Windows 8 so I am not sure that is even possible. See case Case #(04227279). for details.
