Social media giving you an IT headache?

Social media can give IT professionals a headache if the organization is not properly prepared to deal with each of the new government regulations requiring monitoring, logging, retaining and disclosure of their employee's relevant communications.

And, prohibiting access to social media sites in the workplace is no longer an option, largely due to the business benefits of social sites, and the uncontrollable nature of the Internet and mobile devices. Yet, IT is often tasked with helping companies comply with these requirements.
