Biography:

I joined Veritas as a consultant in 2000 and worked there for 10 years (during which Veritas was bought by Symantec). I designed, implemented and tested clustering and disaster recovery solutions using Veritas software (VCS, GCO, Vxss, SF, VVR, VOM) on Solaris, AIX, RHEL, HP-ux & Windows.
I now do contract work for legacy Veritas products in the UK.

This usually mean "had" daemon is not running on system2, so VCS does not know state of the system, but it knows system is up as LLT is up. Mike
