I actually had our backup guy restore the PXE and Bootwiz folders on the server from the beginning of May when everything was working and all is back to normal. Still doesn't explain what happened but I'm just glad its working again.

Ian, all of a sudden I'm getting the ActiveX runtime error mentioned above. Nothing has changed on my server. I'm uninstalled and reinstalled ImageInvoker and rebuild my boot images. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Make sure that AClntUsr.EXE is on the computers and is being run at login. That is the file that reports the logged on user to the server.

Also make sure the task is set to run directly from file share for a distribure software job. If not DS will copy setup.exe and then execute it on the client and not know where the rest of the Office 2010 files are.

Make sure that the Aclient version on the client matches the server. What you're describing usually happens when the versions don't match up.

I've seen this problem with a couple models of Dells but only when using RDeploy to pull or push an image. Changed the job to use Ghost and works fine all the time.

It was the service. It kept crashing every time I restarted it. I reinstalled 3.0.1 and everything is good now. Thanks for the help. ImageInvoker is amazing! Its totally changed how we image computers here.

I spoke too soon. Linux is doing the same thing now. Seems to have all started when I upgraded ImageInkover to the newest version.

I've checked everything, regenerated the automation environment, even reinstalled ImageInvoker. Linux works fine. In WinPE no computer I've tested gets to the Computer Name Override screen. They all sit on the Select Deployment Option ...

If its minimized then you won't see a window. The window will be minimized to the taskbar. Try setting it to normal.
