You may also look at the setup.etl file in the Panther folder.  Load that into event viewer (open saved log).  Also check out event viewer once the machine is accessible.

Is your DHCP set up properly?  :)  Check out your scope options on the appropriate VLANs and make sure.  You should see option 60 as PXEClient. You also should have iphelper setup on your switches.

No, that wouldn't be the situation here.  It's only a 25 GB virtual disk.  All our physical drives are larger.
